Our organic French Wholegrain Gourmet Mustard is a masterpiece in taste and texture. With a coarser, grainier bite than a regular wholegrain, it has a delectably earthy, rustic feel – a benefit that comes from its traditional artisanal provenance.
The finest farm-grown brown mustard seeds are very roughly ground, and blended with spirit vinegar and sea salt, to create a rich nuttiness and slightly spicy flavour. The result is a milder mustard with an astonishing depth of flavour, and a warming crunch.
Use it to add potency to roasted vegetables, or toss some cooked lentils in a simple vinaigrette made from wholegrain mustard, olive oil, lemon juice and fresh herbs. If you want to liven up an old favourite, add it into a potato salad for a zesty, textured twist.
